The Syrox CMS may be deployed over any type of TCP-IP network including LANs, Intranets, Extranets and the Internet, so access is extended beyond the confines of the traditional office network. Staff can access the system at home or in the field, on any device that supports a standard web browser.

Flexibility of Content Deployment

Content can be authored on many systems including Microsoft Windows, Linux, Apple Macs, Unix and Windows CE for mobile applications. WYSIWYG Editing

Familiar and easy to use Microsoft Word-like editing toolbars for web authoring and editing including bold, italic, underline, justify and bulleted font controls, table support including nested tables, hyperlinks and bookmarks, simple asset management system for image, video and PDF support and the ability to copy and paste with formatting from any Windows-based application.

Componentisation

The Syrox CMS allows pages to be built from many separate components, allowing whole and multi-page documents, web pages and syndicated news to be automatically reassembled and published from a mixture of different documents and resources.

XML and Web Services

Standards compliant support for exchange of information is built into the Syrox CMS, enabling businesses to leverage their content more effectively by encoding both text and data so that content can be processed and exchanged across diverse hardware, operating systems, and applications with little or no human intervention. Integration and interoperation of the Syrox CMS with other web applications is straightforward with SOAP web service support.

Metadata & Content Rating

Content in the Syrox CMS can be flexibly tagged with keywords, content rating or relationship hierarchies, allowing for powerful and accurate categorisation, searching and aggregation of content. Using our flexible content rating system, each document can be scored against a small number of simple categories reflecting your business practice, products or services, in to order to semantically associate content.
