Objective

Mapa required a new CMS website to front their business with extended functionality and web 2.0 features. The brief included flexible secure client areas with content present on an individual client basis, a news archive with deep linking plus many other online features.

Syrox Solution

Syrox provided a sophisticated content management website with the addition of an extranet system for its clients.

The content management system allows MAPA to update and maintain the web pages themselves. They can add pages and even move pages around via a drag and drop system. There is a news section where they can post both industry and company news with the ability to share with others, add comments and directly link to specific articles.

The extranet allows them to set up clients and control the data available to those individual clients. The can add various reports and information relevant only to that client adding report overviews and welcome notes and news. Once logged onto the secure area the client sees all the information via an SSL (secure sockets layer) which is extremely safe as it keeps the information encrypted.

The web 2.0 features included the ability to share pages and content via social networking, add comments to news articles and receive new news articles via RSS feeds. Not only can Mapa push valuable content via an RSS feed, Syrox has also setup a tracking log which tracks who and when others including potential clients read their content, a useful marketing device.
