Objective
The team behind The Little Green Sheep had become increasingly
frustrated with their previous developer having established a clear idea
of how their online business should be working and what functionality
their site should be offering.
Apart from a complete brand refresh they wanted to offer their
customers the facility of creating a bundle of related products,
rewarding them with a quantity discount.
Also a large proportion of their sales were for custom sized bedding products to fit second hand or family heirloom furniture. Previously this was carried out via lengthy personal phone calls, however they want an online solution, saving them time and increasing sale conversions.

The playful nature of the brand was a pleasure to work with and gave us the creative freedom to create a site that worked well with their re-brand.
We worked closely with The Little Green Sheep team to establish the optimum way of categorising their range of products and develop a user friendly build a bundle solution that would dynamically track purchases and sizes offering bundle options throughout the shopping process. For the custom size mattress functionality we devised a formula for calculating the price, creating a simple 4 step online process for collection of size, shape and thickness required before quoting.
As well as the ecommerce functionality, the site incorporates several content managed areas, including article based pages, flexible product pages and a rolling slide show on the homepage, giving the client full control over much of the site. To help build their brand and SEO we also designed a blog to enable the team to discuss wide subjects and increase inbound search engine linking.
With all e-commerce sites customer confidence is key, especially in the purchasing of infant bedding products. To help build confidence and showcase their many satisfied customers, we included a feedback and review solution enabling users to easily add their comments about products, share product information and ask the staff for advice.
